Recently, Fujian Hishan Machinery was awarded “2017 Putian Intellectual property pilot enterprises.” This award from Putian Municipal People’s Government and the Municipal Intellectual Property Office is the recognition and affirmation on Hishan’s intellectual property rights and technological innovation ability.

In order to encourage and guide enterprises to implement intellectual property strategy, improve the ability and level of enterprises to use the intellectual property system, enhance the enterprise intellectual property creation, use, protection and management capacity, cultivate a number of independent intellectual property rights, market competitiveness of the pilot enterprises , Putian City Intellectual Property Office organized the 2017 Putian intellectual property pilot enterprises to sumbit their application documents. On April 19, 23 companies have been approved and awarded this year’s intellectual property pilot enterprises.

Since the trial production in 2014, Hishan developed feasible patent strategies and specific work measures according to their business objectives and development strategies,. Actively carry out the strategic layout of intellectual property rights, participate in the development of non-destructive mining technology standards, and promote the transformation of patents to standards. As of the end of April 2017, Hishan has applied for 63 patents (including 19 inventions, 44 utility model), among which 2 invention patents and 27 utility model patents has been authorized, in addition to 2 software copyright. Road pollution removal vehicles, multi-functional non-destructive suction excavator, walking excavator, railway engineering robots and other first batch of products have entered the market; all of them have won praise from industry customers.

It is understood that for companies that are awarded “intellectual property pilot enterprises”, the municipal government will roll out targeted policy support and give priority to those eligible when recommend relevant enterprises to Provincial Intellectual Property Office. In additom, pilot enterprises’s will enjoy fasttrack patent application process and patent fees waived, priority invention patent review and other services.
